Shiri Maimon has been promoting an upcoming concert in Israel, taking place at Ampi Shuni in Binyamina on Thursday, June 6th.

Then a few weeks ago, she announced she’d welcome some special guests that night: Israeli rock band “Hayehudim”.

The band is made up of husband and wife team Tom Petrover and Orit Shachaf, and typically has a hard rock sound. So that’s why I was pretty surprised to see them performing alongside pop princess Shiri Maimon.

I was even more surprised when they released the video above, shot during rehearsals for the upcoming concert. Shiri joins Hayehudim to sing “Im Kvar” – a very far cry from Shiri’s typical musical style.

But I love it.

Shiri blends in very nicely, and uses her powerful voice to belt out some impressive hard rockin’ vocals. Don’t miss the video above.
