In these days of Coronavirus, many of us are finding ourselves stuck at home – all, day, every day. At the same time, officials are working hard to encourage everyone to remain at home as much as possible to help stop the spread of the deadly virus.

But it’s not easy to convince an entire nation to remain in their homes all. the. time. Well, if public officials and politicians can’t get the message across, maybe celebrities can?

“HaKochav Haba” to the rescue. Hosts Assi Azar and Rotem Sela, judges Assaf Amdursky, Static & Ben-El Tavori, Shiri Maimon, Keren Peles, and Itay Levy, this season’s winner Eden Alene, as well as several other contestants and finalists, all joined together to show how much fun it can be to stay at home.

They released a cover of Arik Einstein’s “Ohev Lihiyot Babayit” (I Love To Be At Home), with video footage of the stars having the time of their lives, prancing around their homes.

“HaKochav Haba” is the television reality show whose winner represents Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest. Eden Alene won the 2020 season, and prepared to represent Israel with the song “Feker Libi”. The 2020 Eurovision was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but Eden will compete for Israel in 2021 instead.
