Can Static & Ben-El make it in the USA music biz?

Israel’s most famous musical duo has been making waves on the other side of the Atlantic. They’ve been making the rounds at various top 40 radio stations, with interviews at HITS 97.3 in Miami and the world-famous Z100 in New York (below…and who knew that Z100 DJ Shelley Rome was Israeli?)

Today they released the new music video for their “Tudu Bom” English reboot…and it’s hilarious. In the video, the boys are sitting at home watching TV when they see a kid dancing outside. The kid, who can’t be much older than 8, teaches them to dance and begins to manage their career.

Long story short, Static and Ben-El become incredibly successful – living in giant mansions (with unicorns!), earning tons of money, winning major awards…and ultimately performing on Mars.

Don’t ask. Just watch.

The song also features a Spanish rap solo by successful Colombian singer J Balvin – adding some star power to their US aspirations. Clearly Static and Ben-El are working with some powerful people in the USA, who know how to get them noticed.
