Yom Ha’atzma’ut 2020 may be a few weeks behind us, but the celebration is far from over! On May 14, the anniversary of Israel’s Independence according to the secular calendar, Israel’s Embassy in the United States presented a virtual celebration of all things Israel.
The broadcast featured inspiring videos, virtual tours of Israel, and musical performances by some of Israel’s top artists. It also highlighted the strong long-standing relationship between Israel and it’s closest ally, the United States. Your host for the evening? None other than Ron Dermer, Israeli Ambassador to the US.
Several members of Israel’s musical community performed from home, exposing the greater Jewish community to the joys of Israeli music. Performers included:

- David Broza (singing “Yihiyeh Tov”)
