Who will represent Israel in Eurovision 2020? We’ll find out on Tuesday, February 4. But today, we know for sure that it will be one of the final four contestants on “HaKochav Haba“, Israel’s popular reality singing contest.

After a fun season featuring tons of talent, the people (and the judges) have spoken. We’re down to just four contestants, one of whom will represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest:

  • Eden Alena
  • Or Amrami Brockman
  • Ella-Lee Lahav
  • Gaya Shaki

Finalist #1: Eden Alena

A former X-Factor contestant, Eden has been impressing the judges since day 1. And for good reason! She sings with power and confidence, and has been a fan favorite throughout the season. Want more? Check out this YouTube playlist of her electrifying performances.

Finalist #2: Or Amrami-Brockman

Or appeared in the very first “HaKochav Haba” episode of the season. At just 17 years old, his stage presence and charisma are well beyond his years, and reflect a surprising maturity not typically seen in your average 17 year old. Want more? Search for “אור עמרמי ברוקמן” on YouTube for a treasure chest of gems.

Finalist #3: Ella-Lee Lahav

Elle-Lee was the very first contestant to audition this season, and quickly started the season on a high note. If the 16-year-old appears shy offstage, you wouldn’t know it once she grabs the mic. Ella-Lee has taken the nation by surprise, stamping out her competition all season long. Want more? Yes, please. This YouTube playlist offers some of Ella-Lee’s greatest hits.

Finalist #4: Gaya Shaki

The Israeli Amy Winehouse? Perhaps. Gaya Shaki is not your typical pop singer, and her soulful performances have made her a fan favorite all season long. Her most recent performance, an intimate cover of the Billie Eilish hit “idontwannabeyouanymore”, received high marks from the judges and the audience alike. It also ushered her into the competition’s final four, with a 25% chance of winning it all.

So, who’s your favorite?

Share your selection in the comments below…and good luck to Gaya, Or, Ella-Lee, and Eden in the grand finale!
