This is troubling on so many levels.

First, we cringe every time we need to put the title of this song in writing. (After all, this is a family-friendly blog.)

Second, we’re still having a rough time getting used to Static & Ben-El singing in English.

Third, as fans of “Silsulim”, the beloved Hebrew song that was, shall we say…re-imagined here, it’s just a tad painful to see the song corrupted in an attempt to gain new fans in the United States.

BUT…we consider it a responsibility to keep you up to date with the boys’ attempts at making it big on the other side of the pond. And so, we present: “Broke Ass Millionaire” – the official music video.

Truth is, English lyrics aside, the duo did a good job with the video. It may look a bit familiar to long-time fans, but it’s still a lot of fun for newcomers into the Static & Ben-El universe.
