A roundup of five new Israeli songs released this week.
Some new Israeli songs we think you should know about. Be sure to listen for more brand new music on this week’s Israel Hour Radio podcast. Shabbat shalom from MyIsraeliMusic.com!
1. Guy V’yahel feat. Idan Raichel – BaMidbar Sheli BaLev
Fresh off their successful USA tour, the boys release a new single. And if you hadn’t heard about Guy V’yahel before, you will now…due to their collaboration with one of Israeli music’s biggest celebrities, Idan Raichel.
2. Eyal Golan & Ofer Nissim – Lo Mevina Ivrit
A fun new song from Eyal Golan, with musical assistance from Producer/DJ Ofer Nissim, about a rich girl from Beverly Hills who doesn’t speak Hebrew but finds herself helplessly attracted to Eyal. Because, isn’t everyone?
3. Lior Narkis – Lo Medabrim Ahava
Seriously, that’s an impressive tattoo on his arm, right? But don’t be distracted by Lior’s body art. Close your eyes and take in this new tune from one of the premier mizrachi singers of today.
4. Ariel Horowitz – Ahava Analogit
I just love that Naomi Shemer’s son is still out there making his mother proud. And the first line of the song conjures up the memory of Arik Einstein. Need any more reasons to listen?
5. Shimon Buskila – Omrim Ye’ush
Shimon Buskila’s Mediterranean “sound” is on full display as usual, but I’ve always been impressed by his ability to fuse that sound with “mainstream” pop music. This new song is no exception, and is sure to capture the ears of the Israeli listening public.
