“You cannot just walk away…”

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Israeli music community is joining in the fight against this devastating disease.

A number of prominent female Israeli singers have joined together to record a cover of “Einech Yechola”. The classic Israeli song was originally composed by Shmulik Krauss and recorded by “HaChalonot Hagvohim” (The High Windows) in 1967.

Iggy Waxman, Ilanit, Efrat Gosh, Gila Almagor, Zehava Ben, Tal Gordon, Leah Shabbat, Maya Buskila, Michal Amdursky, Si Himan, Corrine Allal, Roni “Superstar” Duani, Sharon Haziz, Ronit Shachar

This new version serves as a call to women – and those who love them – to encourage early detection of breast cancer. “Even if you say you don’t have time,” it’s critical to find the time for an exam.
