Eurovision 2019 hosts speak out
The excitement is building as Tel Aviv is busy getting ready for the event of the century. The Eurovision is coming this May, and the four Israeli hosts got together recently for a photo shoot. Kan broadcasting was there. They asked the hosts – Erez Tal, Lucy Ayoub, Assi Azar, and Bar Refaeli – what they thought about Israel’s representative this year, Kobi Marimi.
We expect to hear Kobi Marimi’s song “Home” on March 10th. The Eurovision finals will be held on Saturday, May 18th.
Broadway Comes To Israel with Isaac Sutton & Delaney Westfall
Broadway star Delaney Westfall, recently seen in “Kinky Boots” and “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical”, will join Israeli theatrical star Isaac Sutton for concert tour in Israel this March. The show is called, appropriately enough, “Broadway Israel”. It will feature the two performers singing Broadway favorites from throughout the ages. Here’s a preview.
The two performed together in a sold-out show in New York City in September.
Bradley Cooper & Lady Gaga at the Oscars…in Hebrew!
And finally, I love this. Ever since the Oscars this past Sunday, EVERYONE’S been talking about that steamy on-stage duet from Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. Well, someone at Galgalatz radio took that video but changed the audio to an Israeli song, “Shkufim” by Keren Peles and Ron Bochnik. You’ve gotta see this, take a look.
Simply genius. Kol hakavod to whoever had that brilliant idea, keep ‘em coming.
