Static’s Very Public Engagement
A number of lifecycle events to tell you about today. First of all, our best to Static, aka Liraz Russo, on his recent engagement! He popped the question last week to his girlfriend, Sarit Pollak, in a grand, very public, surprise ceremony only Static could pull off.
Mazal tov as well to singer Mosh Ben Ari, who proposed on Shavuot to his girlfriend, Jenny Zavisha. Mosh is 48, Jenny is 24…but who’s counting?
Achinoam Nini mourns the loss of her grandmother
And condolences to Achinoam Nini on the recent passing of her 98 year old grandmother, Rachel. Achinoam, known internationally as Noa, wrote on social media, “She was a woman I adored, who had a huge impact on my life….The night before she died, I sang to her, softly, in her ear, and thanked her for everything she had done for all of us. I love you safta…may All of the Angels sing together for you, now and forever.”
Yuval Banai sings Yossi Banai
Yuval Banai, lead singer of the classic Israeli band Mashina, is also the son of the late singer Yossi Banai. Yossi passed away in 2006, but his many contributions to the world of Israeli music are legendary. Now, his son Yuval is keeping his legacy alive with his new show, “Yuval Sings Yossi”.
Performances of “Yuval Sings Yossi” are scheduled for later this month in Binyamina and Tel Aviv.
