In 1957, Benny Amdursky and Yisrael Gurion teamed up to form “HaDuda’im“. In 2018, Benny’s son Assaf reunited with Yisrael to re-record some of the group’s most popular songs. This morning, Assaf and Yisrael appeared on Galgalatz radio to show off their results.
“Mi Ha’ish” … words from the Psalms, originally composed and recorded by American Orthodox Group “The Rabbis’s Sons” in 1977, later recorded and widely performed by Chava Alberstein, and now covered by Dana International along with the Ra’anana Symphony Orchestra to promote the upcoming Pride Parade in Jerusalem. Quite a musical journey!

New (and beautiful) from Koolulam, filmed at the Tower of David in Jerusalem in the wee hours of the morning. We tried to get tickets to this, knowing we’d be in Israel at the time. No such luck….they sold out in about five minutes.
