It was not long ago that we had the opportunity to hear former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu belt out a classic Israeli song. In December 2020, while still in office, Bibi collaborated with Eden Ben Zaken on a cover of Arik Einstein’s “Yesh Bi Ahava”.

Well, Bibi’s belting it out once again. In honor of the new year, the former prime minister (and aspiring future prime minister) is back at it. This time, he’s teaming up with Israeli acapella group Kippalive and singer Ohad Moskowitz to sing a prayer for the members of the IDF.

A beautiful rendition, for sure, and a very moving song. However, in an election year, there are always ulterior motives at play…
